Life is filled with ups and downs and in the middle of it all, we find ourselves searching for our purpose. In the process of trying to find meaning in our lives, we begin to search for comfort in different things. While those things provide temporary solace and peace, we are still struggling for something more than what this world provides. We see the hurt that happens in this world and begin to lose hope as we long for something more. We can feel stuck in a cycle of our own pain, to the point where we are scared to search for a path to healing. However, there is someone who provides freedom from our brokenness.

There is always a misconception and belief that we need to work towards freedom, but God has already won the battle that we have been fighting. The fight for purpose, love, and eternal peace, outshines all the struggles of this world and supports us throughout our lives.

This year at JesusWalk, we are going to experience the gift that God has readily available to us. The freedom that we have been fighting for, for so long, is in God. While the world will have its struggles, God has already won the battle and will always OVERCOME what this world will throw at us.
